What is Silica?
A premium IPTV player app for Android TV, Google TV, Fire TV, Android phones and tablets. You connect your own IPTV sources; Silica gives you Live TV, a programme guide, and a movies-and-series library.
Does Silica come with channels or content?
No, and it never will. Silica includes, sells and recommends no content. It only plays sources you add yourself, such as a playlist or account from your own provider.
What sources does it support?
M3U and M3U8 playlists (remote or local), Xtream-compatible accounts, and XMLTV programme guides.
Which devices does it run on?
Android TV, Google TV and Amazon Fire TV, plus Android phones and tablets. One app, adapted to each screen.
What does Premium cost?
On the UK website, Premium costs £2.49 a month, £19.99 a year or £49.99 once, including VAT. Each plan covers up to five devices in a household. To buy on the web, open Activate your TV on your phone and enter your TV’s code. You can also buy any plan in the Google Play app. The Amazon Appstore sells the lifetime plan only. Store prices may differ.
How do I activate Premium on a TV?
Open Silica on the TV and choose Activate this TV. On your phone or computer, open Activate your TV and enter the code shown. The TV must approve the request before activation completes.
